What are the qualifications to be a Reservist?

General Qualifications for Enlistment in the PN Reserve Force

 

• Age of applicant must not be less than eighteen (18) years nor more than sixty-four (64) years of age at the time of Enlistment.

• Applicant must be a Filipino citizen

• Pre-entry training graduate (Basic ROTC / Basic Citizen Military Training / Military Orientation Training for PN Affiliated Reserve Unit).

• No criminal record.

• Atleast High School Graduate 

 

General Qualifications for Commission in the PN Reserve Force (Reservist Officer)

 

• Age must not be less than twenty-one (21) years nor more than sixty-four (64) years of age at the time of appointment as reserve officer.

• Must be a Filipino citizen.

• Must pass the physical examination standards conducted by an authorized AFP hospital or civilian / government hospitals. Physical examination report to be validated by the Major Service Chief Surgeons / The Surgeon General.

• Baccalaureate degree holder with at least four (4) years of study.

• Pre-entry training graduate (Basic ROTC / Basic Citizen Military Training / Military Orientation Training for PN Affiliated Reserve Unit).

• Cleared by Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, J2 or Major Service 2s.
