It would be best to ask yourself these questions first before joining the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force and answer them honestly 100%.
1. Will I truly want to serve my Country as a member of the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force?
2. Can I be relied upon in times of war and calamities to report and respond?
3. Will I be a good example of a Citizen Soldier?
4. Will I continue to improve myself by attending formations and training given by my reserve unit?
5. Will I continue to serve my Country in my capacity as a member of the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force and be a model employee or employer at the same time?
6. Will I not use my being a member of the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force to abuse the use of the uniform and take advantage of people or my countrymen.
7. Will I continue to follow lawful orders of my Officers and / or superiors in my reserve unit, and respect my Officers and superiors at all times?
8. Will I place my duty to my Country when my Country needs me above all but second to God?
9. Am I true to myself that I will indeed be a True and committed member of the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force?
If you answered truthfully and positively to all the rest will follow and it will be easy.
